TEKTOMO

All-Weather Electromechanical Diviner. 1929. Aalto Research Laboratory, Hogland.

Weak biomagnetic waves, properly analysed, indicate water underground, 'ley' lines and also nodal positions of geopathic strata. The Tektomo was originally developed to locate Enochite by detecting these waves.

The Tektomo also accidentally exposed a gross breach of security on the island. A German jazz band - The Krazy Katz - apparently arrived by submarine in 1926. Tests of a prototype Tektomo in the casino, at a time when the Krazy Katz were rehearsing, revealed unusual wave patterns that were traced to the teutonically tinged music of these spies. Chased by angry customers from the Casino, they were last seen clinging to a double bass, paddling toward Poland.
